About

A Detail-Focused Approach to Scalp Micropigmentation

Specializing in men's hairlines & women's density

Barbara Anne Vergara founded Derma Follic SMP on a simple belief: the best scalp micropigmentation should not draw attention to the treatment itself. The spacing, pigment tone, hairline shape and final density should work together so the result fits naturally with the client's face and existing hair pattern.

Every appointment is completed one-on-one. From the initial consultation through the final refinement session, the treatment remains under Barbara's direct care.

About Your Artist

Barbara Anne Vergara is a nurse and Master Scalp Micropigmentation Artist specializing in natural-looking hairlines, scalp density treatments, and customized SMP solutions for men and women.

Her nursing background brings a clinical level of care, precision, sanitation, and attention to detail to every treatment. Barbara understands that scalp micropigmentation is not a one-size-fits-all procedure. Each hairline, pigment shade, and treatment pattern is carefully designed around the client's face shape, skin tone, existing hair, and personal goals.

As the artist behind Derma Follic SMP, Barbara focuses on subtle, realistic results that enhance confidence without looking artificial or overdone. Every consultation and treatment session is completed with patience, honesty, and a commitment to helping clients feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

Her specialties include men's hairline restoration, women's scalp density, thinning crown treatments, alopecia camouflage, and the concealment of FUE, FUT, and other healed scalp scars.

Specializing in Men's Hairlines and Women's Density

Men's hairline design and women's density work require different placement, contrast and visual goals. Men's treatments frequently focus on follicle recreation, temple shape and a natural transition into existing hair. Women's density treatments typically require softer contrast and careful placement beneath longer hair.

This focused approach allows each treatment to be designed around the way the client actually wears their hair.

Reviews

In our clients' words

"Walked in a little skeptical — walked out looking sharper than I have in years. The team took time with the hairline design and never oversold the density. People noticed something changed but nobody has guessed what."
MMarcus
"The thing that surprised me most was how relaxed the session was. No stinging, no fuss, just a couple of hours of quiet work. My scalp doesn't shine through anymore and my hair reads much thicker."
DDaniel
"I'd been hiding my FUT scar under longer styles for years. After two sessions here it just… disappears into the hair. I stopped thinking about it, which is what I really wanted."
SSophia
"My part had gotten so wide I stopped putting my hair up. After the density work my scalp barely reads through anymore. Even my hairdresser assumed I was on a new supplement."
JJessica
"Temple recession in my late twenties absolutely wrecked my confidence. The redesigned hairline is realistic — not a straight-line cartoon — and it actually suits my face. Zero regrets."
RRyan
"Root sprays, fibers, powders — I'd tried all of them and hated all of them. This is the first thing that actually solved the problem instead of covering it up every morning."
